About Northwoods Narrative
Independent publishing from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Northwoods Narrative Group LLC publishes fiction, memoir, regional storytelling, and practical guides. Our books have distinct authors, styles, and audiences. What connects them is a belief that memorable stories deserve a chance to find their readers.
What matters to us
Honest voices. Complicated people. Memorable places. Stories that stay with you after the last page.
Why the Upper Peninsula?
The U.P. has a way of getting into a story: the weather, the distance, the woods, the humor, and the stubborn streak that helps people through a long winter.
Meet the founder
Joseph O’SULLIVAN (Joe) founded Northwoods Narrative Group after a career of more than 30 years in information technology and problem-solving. His work helping writers bring manuscripts into publication led him to write about practical AI-assisted publishing and the tools, mistakes, and lessons involved.
