Meet the Founder
Joseph O’Sullivan is a disabled U.S. Army veteran, longtime technology and operations leader, entrepreneur, author, and founder of Northwoods Narrative Group LLC.
During a career spanning more than 20 years, Joe worked with mission-critical technology in healthcare and large enterprise environments. His experience includes software architecture, major-incident leadership, problem management, business continuity, process improvement, and translating complicated technical issues into language people can actually understand.
His interests have never fit neatly into one category. He enjoys exploring technology, leadership, workforce development, public policy, tax reform, publishing, and the occasional unconventional idea about electric vehicles. He may question how a system works, but usually because he believes it could work better.
Northwoods Narrative grew from that same curiosity. What began with writing and publishing one book developed into an independent publishing company representing several distinct author voices.
Today, Joe lives on a rural farm in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where he continues to write, develop new ideas, and ask questions that sensible people might leave alone.
